In June of 2005 Samsung introduced a new line of monochrome laser printers; the ML-3560 series was made up of the ML-3560, ML-3561, and ML-3562W. All were targeted at the small-to-medium size office or workgroup and were OEM rated at a print speed of 35 pages per minute (ppm) with a duty cycle of 150,000 pages per month.
Xerox also offers its own version, the Phaser 3500 that is based on the same print engine.
The cartridges are all-in-one units, are available in both 6,000 low yield and 12,000 high yield versions and require printer-specific chips for correct printer operation.
